A Philippians Birthday

OK well when it comes to the title of  this post, the two are not exactly the same. (ha)

We studied Philippians 2, Wednesday night, and Ms. Diana brought some goodies to celebrate Ms. LaDonna's Birthday. :)

Philippians 2 calls on Christians to strive for the mind set of Christ.  Being ready to act, serve and give of ourselves to OTHERS.

And like verse 14 says, doing it all with a cheerful heart or smile.

Bottom line: It's not about me, but you Lord.

Whew, A True challenge.

But if you keep reading you see, as Christians, God is working in us and will give us the desire and POWER to do what pleases Him.
That's good news.

I don't know about you but like vs. 16 says, I strive to live a life that is a "breath of fresh air to this polluted society." (love that, it's The Message translation)

But I also realize I can't do it alone, believe me I've tried. ha
But with Gods help, WE CAN do anything for His Glory.
