Today is Message Monday and the focus is VISION!!
God has something BIG planned for this church and we are so excited about the future and more importantly to be apart of it!
And you can too, all you have to do is say YES!
As we seek God's direction He will equip us, bring along people to guide us, and birth new ideas and direction. We just have to DREAM BIG, and Expect results!!
The Bible shows us time and time again how Big our God really is. 1 Samuel shows us how He took David, a little shepherd boy enabled him to kill a GIANT, and made him a King!
We were also reminded today that Jesus used 12 ordinary men to make up the disciples.
Calling a tax collector, fishermen, even a doubter. But in Matthew 5:14 Jesus called them to be the LIGHT of the WORLD! And that's just what they became!
So just like the song says carry your candle for all to see, and join us as we set forth to LIGHT our world.
Light often comes out of the places we have been hurt in. If it's our heart, then the light shines out from the healed places for all to see. If it's our mind then the light shines to illuminate the way God see's things. If it's our knees, we kneel in a position of total surrender and the world sees. We are at our best when we bow our hearts, surrender our way of thinking and become warriors on our knees. Going through often brings us to a place of refinement and power as God changes us from Glory to Glory.
